An estimated 100,000 people were killed in a shooting spree in a Connecticut college town Monday.
In the hours following the attack, the Associated Press reported that officials in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut said they were investigating the possibility that the shooter was connected to domestic violence or mental health issues.
The AP also reported that the FBI said a federal investigation was ongoing, but the FBI’s New York office declined to comment further.
In Connecticut, Gov.
Dannel Malloy said his office is working to establish a timeline for the state’s response to the shooting, which left one person dead and five wounded.
