Jansen Press is proud to present our fifth edition of the Banned Books in the UK – The Banned Press Book Review, a definitive guide to books in the British Library that contain or encourage sexual violence, including sexual exploitation of children.
The Banned books review examines the books listed in The Borrowed Book List of the British National Library, and lists them by title and subject matter.
These books have been classified as Banned in the last five years and we hope that this publication will encourage other libraries to reconsider their classification decisions.
This publication has been commissioned by the UK Banned Publications Action Network, and by the BPAN, which represents libraries across the UK.
