Updated February 24, 2019 03:40:00Honda is releasing a new version of its popular hydrogen fuel cell car, the Civic Hydrogen, for its 2017 model year.
This is the first new Civic fuel cell to be released since it was announced in March.
The Honda Civic hydrogen vehicle, or H2, is powered by a mix of compressed hydrogen (CH4) and natural gas (N2O).
The new H1H vehicle, which is not as efficient as the Honda H2C, has a top speed of about 60km/h (37mph) and a range of about 300km (186 miles).
It will be available in Australia starting on February 28, 2019, at an expected retail price of $27,495 ($23,595 US).
The Honda H1 will be released in 2018.
